It’s wicked. It zooms by, it flies by and it literally goes out of control. Catching up with it is quite distressing or sometimes it could even be the other way round (circumstantially). First off, it gets supremely slow when we are doing something awfully boring. On the other hand, when we are having a goody-good time it goes……….away, just like that.
A quote from The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy drew my attention in fact Douglas Adams work in itself is brilliantly well-put. Witty as fuck!
― “Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so.”
It changed my perception about the whole idea of time. It made me get over that annoying ‘use your time wisely’ crap that we often get from everybody every now and then (the adults, to be precise). It doesn’t mean, we while away our time but instead we could utilize it better, do something that would really make a difference and appreciate it a bit more than we usually do and for the folks who don’t, please start right away! After all, it is important to be grateful for all the little itsy-bitsy wonderful times and to those awful bummer days, let’s just say “This Too Shall Pass” and get on with it.
Please have a look at the Hitchhiker’s quote up there and give it a thought, yes?
P.S – At the end of the day, we all know the answer to life, the universe and everything.
